The average age of the vines is 35 years. The grape is lightly withered on the plants and hand picked in little crates at the end of September.

Color
intense ruby red.
Nose
powerful with perfumes of black fruit, prunes, black cherries, compote, balsamic hints, accompanied with hints of spices and cocoa.
Mouth
well rounded with a retro olfaction of very ripe black fruit. Nice density and very long lingering flavour.
Winemaking
Fermentation et maceration at a controlled temperature for about 20 days. Filtering in small French oak barrels for around 12 months.
