Tuscany is famous for its Chianti, Super-Tuscan and Bolgheri wines. Nevertheless, the Montalcino region offers wines in a class of its own. The Sangiovese is cultivated here to produce superb wines that are both elegant and powerful at the same time.
The name "Corte dei Venti" comes from the confluence of the winds that blow constantly in this region. Their presence allows for a Mediterranean climate without fog, favouring the health of the vines during the vegetative phase and the grapes during the harvest.
