Orma, an elegant, powerful red wine from Tuscany
It was in the heart of the Bolgheri appellation, alongside the legendary Sassicaia and Ornellaia, that the Orma cuvée from the eponymous estate first saw the light of day in 2005. This Tuscan red wine is the fruit of the rigorous, uncompromising work of Antonio Moretti and his two sons Alberto and Amedeo. Renowned for its elegant, powerful red wines, the Tuscany wine-growing region is a favourite land for grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, which make up the blend of this exceptional wine.
Podere Orma, a renowned Tuscan producer
Owned by Antonio Moretti, nicknamed 'Dottore' by his peers, Podere Orma is part of the Tuscan wine landscape and contributes to the enhancement of the local wine heritage. To understand the renown of this estate, you need to go further inland to Castiglion Fibocchi. It was here, in the heart of the famous Tuscan hills, that Antonio Moretti took over the family estate founded 40 years earlier by his father: Tenuta Sette Ponti. With rigour and passion, he has turned this estate into one of Tuscany's most respected names, now one of Italy's finest wines. In love with Bolgheri and its ideal Mediterranean climate for winegrowing, he founded Podere Orma in 2004.
For lovers of harmonious red wines with enchanting aromas
Orma, which means "footprint", is a cuvée for lovers of full-bodied, well-balanced red wines. Its bewitching nose is reminiscent of blackberry and blackcurrant, coffee beans and a touch of tobacco leaf. Its full, velvety structure evokes harmony.
