A blend of two international grape varieties, this atypical combination honours the two terroirs of the estate: Pianetto in the Palermo countryside and Baroni in the Val di Noto. The Merlot brings structure while the Syrah brings fruitiness, spicy notes and greediness.

Color : Intense ruby red.

Nose : Notes of wild berries, blackcurrant, roasted coffee and nutmeg.

Mouth : A full wine on the attack, the tannins are velvety and enveloped by a good richness. Round finish with a hint of freshness.

Alcohol level : 14.5%

Winemaking : 12 months in barrels and 24 months in bottle.

Food pairing : Arancini Sicilian style, Pasta alla Norma.

Aging potential : 4 to 6 years.
