Made up of mountains and hills, Abruzzo enjoys ideal conditions for wine production, with its mild Mediterranean climate, cool mountains and rich, fertile soils. Marco and his team have created a range of different cuvées to showcase the many facets of this grape variety. Il Grande, the estate's flagship cuvée, is a perfect showcase for this often overlooked and disparaged grape variety. The vines are planted in predominantly clay soils, with a view of the Gran Sasso to the west. The cuvée takes its name from this mountain, which is famous throughout the region.
