Zeresimo is an exceptional red wine from the Abruzzo wine region, located in central Italy on the east coast. The brainchild of Marco and Sabrina Biscardo, Zeresimo is the nugget from the Fosso Corno estate, featuring a blend of the very local Montepulciano grape and its more international counterpart, Merlot. This is the result of a desire to produce a 'Super Abruzzo' capable of competing with its neighbours on the other side of the Apennines: the Supers-Tuscans.

Fosso Corno was founded in the early 2000s and from the outset has been dedicated to producing quality wines. Respecting local winemaking traditions and constantly striving for quality, Fosso Corno has developed the estate into one of the region's leading figures. It was in this spirit that Zeresimo was born. With the aim of making one of the best wines in the region, they needed a name that would stand out, a name that would evoke excellence beyond being the first: Zeresimo.
