Jonico is also one of the synonyms of Negramaro, the indigenous grape variety par excellence of Gran Salento.

Color : Dense ruby red
Nose : Great olfactory complexity, with notes of sweet spices, forest fruits, dried red flowers, coffee and hints of menthol.
Mouth : Ample, supple and elegant. It has a nice freshness, easy tannins and a great persistence.
Alcohol level : 14.5%
Winemaking : Slight drying on the vine. After fermentation, the wine is matured for 12 months in 50% new oak barrels and 50% second passage.
Food pairing : Braised meats and strong cheeses
