Armagnac is the oldest distilled spirit in France. Produced in the heart of the Gascony, from 98% white grape Ugni-Blanc (the rest is shared between the grapes Folle Blanche and Colombard), it is aged in Gascon oak casks of 400 litres.

Founded in 1832, the family Castarède is considered as one of the most prestigious Armagnac producers, evidenced by the numerous medals received from international competitions. The Armagnac Castarède has been brought up according to family traditions in the centuries old cellars. Alfavin.ch offers numerous vintages from the 1930s onwards.
