Terra di Lavoro takes its name from the province of the former Kingdom of Two Sicilies, which included the present territory of Caserta.

Terra di Lavoro is a wine of great structure and prestige made from a happy blending of Aglianico and Piedirosso, aged in new French small oak barrels for 12 months. The vintages, ranging from 1994 to today, have seen a constant progression in the experts attention and from the public. To the first enthusiastic comments from the greatest American experts, Robert Parker, Daniel Tomasses, James Suckling and Stephen Tanzer, were added those of the most important international critics. In Italy, a special satisfaction comes from the important recognition from the Gambero Rosso (3 bicchieri to all vintages since 2002), from Espresso, Alessandro Masnaghetti , Luca Maroni and finally Bernard Robinson, who has listed the Terra del Lavoro several times as the best wine from Italy.
