Thirty minutes south of Santiago de Compostela is the Bodega Pazo de Señorans. Located in the municipality of Vilanoviña, the winery is only a few kilometres from the Atlantic Ocean. Built in an old building from the 16th century, the winery has existed since 1989, when the first vintage was produced. A family history for this estate created by Marisol Bueno and her husband Javier Mareque, today it is their four children who continue to write the history of Pazo de Señorans.

In the heart of a wine region where the Albariño grape is king, Pazo de Señorans produces 5 vintages all made from this grape variety. On several plots of land scattered around the estate, the Albariño enjoys conditions that are very favourable to its expression. The granite rock soils, the cool and humid climate thanks to the nearby ocean and the pergola growing system, allow this grape variety to reveal all its aromatic potential and bring out its characteristic freshness. The rigorous work carried out in the vineyards, with the control of ripeness, manual harvesting and harvesting in small boxes, allows Pazo de Señorans to obtain quality grapes for the vinification.
