With a first vintage in 2013, Ornellaia Bianco 2017 is produced with 91% Sauvignon Blanc and 9% Viognier. Like the other wines produced, Ornellaia Bianco is the result of quality work from start to finish. A blend of 3 parcels and mainly composed of Sauvignon, its vinification without malolactic fermentation gives it the freshness it needs; then its ageing on lees for several months gives it this complexity and roundness. The result is without appeal, this wine is great and made to be kept.

Color : Bright yellow with green highlights.

Nose : Beautiful complexity and unexpected aromatic intensity, with aromas of exotic fruit and fresh citrus.

Mouth : Particularly striking with a silky feel, accompanied by a pleasant freshness that ends with a long and elegant finish.

Alcohol level : 13.5%

Winemaking : Fermented in barrels without malolactic fermentation (to preserve freshness). Aged for 18 months, 6 of which in bottle.

Food pairing : Seafood risotto, Pasta with vongoles, sea bass tartar and barberry.
