Polesio, San Lazzaro: Sangiovese from Marche.

Polesio, San Lazzaro is an Italian red wine from Marche, a wine-growing region on the Adriatic coast. The main grape variety used to produce this wine is Sangiovese, a red grape variety typical of the region that is also found on the other side of the Apennines in Tuscany.

Poderi San Lazzaro, a family business founded in 2000 by Paolo Capriotti and Elisetta Carosi, is located in the hilly Marche hinterland in the village of Offida. In just a few years, this passionate couple have succeeded in raising this estate to the top, making it one of the finest representatives of local viticulture. Paolo's philosophy is to produce organic wines, both in the vineyards and in the cellar, using local red and white grape varieties,
