Moros, Salice Salentino: an Apulian treasure.

In the heart of the Salice Salentino appellation, in the municipality of Guagnano, the Moros cuvée is born after each harvest. This cuvée is 95% made from an autochthonous grape variety found nowhere else and which is a treasure of Puglia: Negroamaro. Produced from fifty-year-old vines, it brings character and structure to the wine. It is blended with Black Malvasia, which adds fruitiness and deliciousness to this cuvée. The vines are planted on clay-limestone soils, providing the balance needed for optimal ageing, the hallmark of great wines.

Cantina Moros: a vision by Claudio Quarta.

Claudio Quarta, a distinguished winegrower from the Puglia region who already owned Tenute di Emera, took over this estate with one watchword in mind: excellence at all costs. The Cantina Moros, a former winery that had fallen into disrepair, was bought by Claudio Quarta and work was undertaken to bring this historic site back into use. With a simple vision: One Estate, One Plot, One Wine; Claudio made the uncompromising choice to produce a unique and exceptional wine in the heart of the Puglia wine region.

A red wine of character in the heart of Salento.

Moros is a red wine of character with intense aromas produced in Salento. This Puglia wine develops notes of black cherries and plums, combined with hints of vanilla and liquorice. On the palate, it is supple on the attack and develops an elegant, enveloping tannic structure. Moros is the wine to discover for those who appreciate Italian red wines with complex aromas and controlled power.
