With a first vintage in 1982, this "super-Tuscan" wine is one of the very first wines of the Bolgheri appellation. On only 10 hectares, Grattamacco shows us the full quintessence of this terroir.

Color : Dark ruby red.


Nose : Notes of blackcurrant, wild strawberries and pepper.


Mouth : Ample attack, the wine is dense with round tannins. Balanced and silky in the mouth, the finish is long and spicy.


Alcohol level : 14,5%


Winemaking : Long maceration, aged 18 months in barrels and 12 months in bottle.


Food pairing : Beef Rossini and truffle. Strong cheeses.
