This exclusive vintage, produced in small quanties of around 2,000 bottles, has been selected by us with the collaboration of Charo Saseta, the owner. It comes from vines aged between 90 and 120 years old in the heart of the Ribera del Duero in the county of Horra, Burgos region.
Additional tasting notes
Color : Intense ruby red with reflects of violet
Nose : Black cherry and blackberry dominate the first nose, followed by notes of sweet wood, lavender, cigar box and finally a touch of vanilla, cinnamon and sweet spices.
Mouth : The tannins are round and very elegant. On the finish, there are balsamic notes which give it a very long lasting taste.
Alcohol level : 15.0%
Winemaking : The ageing lasts approximately 14 months in French small oak barrels fro
Food pairing : Ideal accompaniment to a large variety of grilled red meat, barbeques, steak, roast lamb, game and full bodied cheese.
