This wine is the fruit of the desire and intuition of René Barbier (son) and his wife Sara Perez. They wanted to produce a white wine, which takes from the traditions and typical traits of local Mediterranean grapes.
It is produced from 50% Macabeo, 40% white Grenache and 10% Cartoixa from 3 different plots of Montsant.
Color : Straw yellow
Nose : The nose develops scents of autumn, ripe fruit or dried fruit and nuts
Mouth : Frank and very smooth attack with a very long finish
Alcohol level : 13.0%
Winemaking : 15% of the grapes are macerated with the skin for 3-5 days to prepare the foot tub (indigenous yeasts). Another 20% are macerated for 24 hours and the remainder goes directly to the press. After fermentation, 30% of the wine is aged in clay amphora and th
