After a long-honoured family tradition, the story of Winner Wines started already several hundred years ago in the Rioja region of Spain. It was by the will of the current owner, Mrs. Charo Saesta that these winemakers decided to install in the region of Ribera del Duero, specifically in the small village of La Horra, in the province of Burgos.
On our last trip to this region, we visited our friends, the producers Winner Wines and after tasting the highly selective wine Alta Expression, of which only 2,000 bottles are produced, we had no choice but to share it with you, as the result is exceptional.
Exclusively in Switzerland, the wine Alta Expression (stamped with a unique alfavin.ch label) and Seleccion are living up to their rarity.
