Some facts about the wine producer Berta

The Berta distillery was founded in 1947 by Paolo Berta. Today, it is managed by her two sons, Gianfranco and Enrico ("Chicco"). The family business is located in Monferrato in the Asti region, in the heart of the Piedmont hills, in a preserved natural environment. The new Roccanivo building with winery, new steel tanks and state-of-the-art equipment was inaugurated in 2002. Elegant, refined, nostalgic: the Berta grappas are the result of a culture that has evolved by mixing tradition and progress to the gastronomic culture. The distillery receives many visitors every year and has a museum revealing the ancestral art of distillation.
