Owned and managed by Telmo Rodriguez, Gago Viticultores was founded in the late 1990s. Telmo Rodriguez, recognising the high quality of the terroirs of the Toro region, decided to create a winery by joining forces with local producer families. His objective is not only to support these grape growers, but above all to reveal the potential of these terroirs by bringing his expertise and rigour to obtain high quality grapes for wine production. Present in other regions of Spain, Telmo Rodriguez, originally from the Basque Country, works here with winegrowers who have been rooted in this vineyard landscape for generations. Thanks to a quality vineyard, with many old vines, Gago Viticultores produces wines that are both powerful and supported by beautiful acidity, making the wines of this estate balanced and pleasant to taste.
