Born of the passion and above all the genius of the brothers Lodovico and Piero Antinori in finding the most beautiful terroirs, these two estates were created in 2001. Located between Bibbona and Bolgheri in the Maremma region of Tuscany, the two estates cover a total of 100 hectares.
Having recognised the high quality of the soils, and finding a similarity with the geological composition of the Masseto terroir, Lodovico and Piero decided to plant mainly Cabernet Franc with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot in Tenuta di Biserno as well as Tenuta Campo di Sasso which is complemented by Syrah and Vermentino.
The wines produced at the estate show all the potential that these terroirs can offer. As with Antinori, where Piero and Lodovico have family ties, the care taken in both the vineyard and the cellar makes these two Tenuta's a sure bet in Tuscany.
