Owned by the Masi family since the beginning of the 20th century, Fattoria di Basciano is located in the heart of the Rufina region, one of the subdivisions of the Chianti appellation. About 45 minutes east of Florence, the estate is located on a hill overlooking the Argomenna Valley and the Sive River. The vineyard of the estate benefits from a microclimate ideal for the ripening of the grapes and its predominantly stony soil which is called "Galestro".

For several years now, the estate has been committed to a much higher quality viticulture both in the vineyards and in the cellars, with the planting of new vines and a constant and irreproachable follow-up with its suppliers of grapes from the region; but also with the construction of a new cellar. Today, the third generation is at the helm...
