The Tenuta Sette Ponti is located near the historic town of Arezzo in the homeland of Sangiovese and Chianti, in Tuscany. A tribute to the River Arno which irrigates the fertile lands of the estate and which has seven bridges between Florence and Arezzo, the Tenuta Sette Ponti was created out of the Moretti family’s purchase of land from the nobility.

It was Antonio Moretti himself who started with 815 acres of transferred noble land, dedicating 125 hectares of it to a wine devoted to a unique quality. Although the majority of the winery is dedicated to the variety which is king in this region, Sangiovese, Antonio Moretti has also put great emphasis on more international varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot.Grown on land with heterogeneous soil characteristics mixing clay, sand and limestone, the wines of the Tenuta Sette Ponti come from plots situated at around 300 metres above sea level.

After the vineyards are worked, harvested and selected exclusively by hand, the different grapes are made into wine and aged according to traditional methods, but in line with the most modern technological and qualitative requirements. The standard-bearer of the winery, Oreno is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet and Petit Verdot which is recognised and regularly awarded by the top Italian and international critics for its excellence.
