Lepriè is an old vineyard producing a limited quantity of carefully selected grapes. It is located in Perno, a district adjacent to Monforte d'Alba.
Color : Intense garnet.
Nose : Beautiful intensity and pleasant with aromas of red fruits (currant and cherry) and liquorice
Mouth : Ample, fruity, pleasant acidity and fine tannins
Alcohol level : 13.5%
Winemaking : The aging lasts 24 months, partly in oak barrels and in Slavonian oak barrels. The wine will spend a little more time in stainless steel vats before bottling.
Food pairing : Red and white meats, beef braised with Barolo, risotto and tagliatelle with truffle, full bodied cheeses.
Aging potential : 7 to 10 Years
