Theobroma is a speciality produced in small quantities (about 3'500 bottles) in the heart of Valpolicella from grapes harvested end of September and withered for about 50 days.

Then the wine spends approximately 12 months in oak casks and matures 3 to 6 months in bottle.

Color : Intense ruby red.


Nose : Intense, red forest fruits, sweet spices.


Mouth : Supple and velvety, spices, pepper, lavender, ripe and sweet fruits, hints of balsamic with a long lasting flavour.


Alcohol level : 15.5%


Winemaking : 12 months in oak casks followed by 3 to 6 months in bottle.


Food pairing : Grilled red meat, pasta with spicy sauce, stuffed aubergines and peppers, full bodied cheeses.
