A blend of several grape varieties, including Merlot and Cabernet, which are perfectly suited to the local terroir. Luna Rossa is a cuvée where the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes are harvested when ripe and then dried, before being vinified.

Additional tasting notes

Color : Intense red with purple hues.

Nose : Notes of black fruits, cherries and spices.

Mouth : The wine is round and fruity on the attack, the tannins are ripe and velvety. Long and persistent finish.

Alcohol level : 14.5%

Winemaking : The grapes are crushed for 30 days, aged for 16/18 months in barrels and then 6 months in the bottle.

Food pairing : Beef tagliata, pepper piperade.

Aging potential : 8 to 10 years
