Five Roses, 100% Negroamaro, was the first bottled rosé wine in Italy. During the Second World War, soldiers at an American base near Salice Salentino loved the "Cinque Rose" wine, which was sold in bulk at the time. When the soldiers returned to the US, they wanted to take the wine with them. So the first vintage, 1943, was put into beer bottles for them for bring them back to the US.

Nose : Notes of small red fruits such as cherry or wild strawberry.


Mouth : Fresh and supple. Fruity like the nose. Good length with a pleasant finish.
