In 2005, the first Amarone «Ca'Coato» was produced with grapes from their plot located in San Vito near Negrar.
It is produced with Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes. Each cluster is selected and hand-picked in the «Ca ‘Coato» vineyard located in the Classic area of the city of Negrar. The terroir is limestone type. Each year 5,000 to 6,000 bottles are produced.

Amarone «Ca ‘Coato» presents an intense and complex nose typical of Amarone with aromas of blackberries, blueberries, cherries, cinnamon, liquorice, coffee, chocolate, tobacco, dried prunes and so many others. On the palate, it is warm, velvety, supple, with fine and pleasant tannins and an exceptional lingering flavour. This deep wine, more complex and intense than its little brother «Moropio» will need time to fully express itself and be appreciated.
