PODERE 72, CHARACTER AND BALANCE
Podere 72 is a wine produced by Poderi San Lazzaro, which honours the two indigenous and king grape varieties of the Marche wine region: Montepulciano and Sangiovese.
Podere 72 is a wine produced under the Piceno Superiore DOC designation in the area of Offida, a town in the Marche region located in the hills inland from the Adriatic Sea. The town is one of the 13 communes in the province of Ascoli Piceno authorised to produce wines under this DOC, which was acquired in 1968.
Planted on clay-limestone soils, the Sangiovese and Montepulciano vines of the Poderi San Lazzaro estate produce a wine with complex aromas, a strong tannic structure and a beautiful freshness.
