The name of this wine comes from a Roman centurion who lived on these lands in the second century AD and who was the first to write about winemaking traditions. Produced from the Magliocco Dolce grape, a variety that grows throughout the Calabria region, this red wine with great personality and good structure represents the best of local winemaking.Intense ruby red with purple reflections.

Nose : Hints of ripe cherries and candied blackberries, balsamic and black olives.
Mouth : Barrel ageing brings a framework of spices and cinnamon that surrounds the powerful base of black fruits. The tannins are silky and a hint of berries in alcohol support a sweet finish.
Alcohol level : 14%
Winemaking : Fermentation in temperature-controlled vats, 12 months in barrels, then 6 months in the bottle.
