Our "En-Primeurs" Offer Clos Mogador 2020

The Clos Mogador estate has been working for years following the principles of biodiversity and regenerative-biodynamic agriculture. Christian Barbier, the family druid, has been tending the vines for the past ten years using only natural products and minimizing mechanical and human intervention.

2020 was a special and difficult year! A very rainy and humid beginning of the season favored the propagation of mildew and consequently a significant loss of production. In June, the weather was nice and warm. The small quantities of grapes were able to take advantage of this beautiful summer season to gain in concentration. In the end, the production was low but of great quality. In the glass, we find ourselves quite close to the 2019 vintage... with concentration, freshness and elegance. A very pleasant structure and a nice balance between acidity, alcohol and tannins!

The 2020 vintage will probably be released early 2023.

Finally, the production of Manyetes has been very strongly impacted by the mildew. The quantities available for the Swiss market will be very low and are not yet known. We can therefore not offer it as a Primeur.
