Did you know that? Since 1991, we have been importing René Barbier wines directly. That year, we were the first importer of the very first 1989 vintage and bought 80% of the production... it has been 30 years now that we share our passion for this region and the wines of the Barbier family.

As parallel importation have increased dramatically in recent years, and in order to ensure optimal quality of the wine during transport and storage, the labels of the Clos Mogador bottles mention since the 2017 vintage for which market they are intended. In our case, they indicate "Cette bouteille est prévue pour le marché Suisse".

In October, we will import the new vintage. René Barbier describes the 2019 Clos Mogador as follows... "The new vintage is already very good. The new vintage is already very harmonious and balanced. We find the typical notes of the older vintages like minerality, spices and licorice. The classic red fruit aromas such as blueberry are well present. The wood ageing is already well integrated. The tannins are mouthwatering and the balance of tannins and acidity is very pleasing. "
